This Bahrain Dilmunite seal medallion pendant depicts various symbols on the front and the back making it two pendants in one! We were not successful in identifying the symbols, however, a medallion very similar to this one showed up when we found information about Dilmunite seals. In the 1950s, Danish archaeologists uncovered hundreds of stamps created out of steatite stone 4000 years ago on Failaka Island.* It is possible that this pendant was created to resemble one of those seals.
